Welcome to Heritage Hill and thanks for visiting this website Minnesota Valley Antique Farm Power and Machinery Association is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) corporation which organized in 1981. The organization is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, demonstration and education of agricultural heritage. The organization owns and operates a 35-acre show site located four miles east of Montevideo, Minnesota, on Minnesota Highway 7. The site is better known as Heritage Hill.
Each year on the third weekend in August Heritage Hill hosts its annual Threshing Show. The annual Threshing Show promises to be a fun-filled weekend for the entire family. The Threshing Show activities provide entertainment for people of all ages and interests. Threshing Show activities and attractions include a one-room school house, a restored prairie farm house, a 500 horse-power Fairbanks-Morse engine, a chapel, a blacksmith shop, seed cleaning and processing facility, tractor displays, gas engine displays, daily tractor parade, great food in the Threshers’ Kitchen, and much more. You will see and experience things that are almost forgotten in today’s technologically advanced world. Please click on the home page “Threshing Show” button for complete details.
Tours of Heritage Hill are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall by request. The facilities are available for various community and family occasions, including reunions, annual meetings, weddings, and other such sizable gatherings.
Heritage Hill enjoys a very friendly and active membership. Volunteers of all ages participate in various events and Heritage Hill always welcomes new members who share in the common interests and goals of the organization. Stop by in August and spend a pleasant and enjoyable day at Heritage Hill.
